Fircone books

Prior to taking over the running of Logaston Press in Herefordshire, we set up Fircone Books in April 2009 while living near Banbury on the Oxfordshire-Northamptonshire border. The first books we published were new editions of three wonderful out-of-print children’s books – the ‘Frog Band’ books written and illustrated by the late Jim Smith. Following that, we published a number of titles on church art and architecture, including ‘Oxfordshire’s Best Churches’.

Fircone continues as an imprint concentrating on church art and architecture, recently publishing a richly illustrated book about the important and relatively little-known set of Pre-Raphaelite stained glass in All Saints Church, Middleton Cheney in Northamptonshire.
